I started when I was 5.

Who was your first coach?
My dad coached me from the very beginning.

What’s your favorite meal you love to eat?
A burger and some fries.

What is your favorite food to eat the night before a big competition?
Fruits and vegetables maybe some dark chocolate.

Are you in any other sports, if so which?
I’m in football and baseball.

What’s been the one match you remember the most?
My very first high school match freshman year and getting body locked and pinned.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Out of college with my degrees and being an athletic trainer.

What one word describes you?
Different

What is your greatest strength?
Never stopping and always going beyond what is expected.

How do you define success?
Overcoming obstacles and failures along the way to get where you want to be.

How does wrestling make you a better student or person?
It helps me stay mentally focused in the classroom and teaches that out working everyone else is what sets you away from the average person.

How do you and your teammates make practice fun?
We sometimes start off with a game of dodgeball for warmups to get the blood pumping.

What is your favorite song to listen to prior to a match?
Want Beef? 2.0 by YSN Flow or Through Da Storm by Polo G

What qualities make a teammate a good team captain?
Being vocal and challenging your teammates and yourself when it’s easy to go light.

Who has inspired you as a wrestler?
The hard work JB had to do to be where he is and now Gable Steveson by how he wrestles and how he goes out with determination.
