All Time Record vs: 7-2 Mizzou will try and bounce back in a tri-dual in Utah against Wyoming then Utah Valley. The Tigers looked especially flat in last week’s upset loss to SDSU and will need to improve here or they will again drop matches against two tough teams. The dual is at altitude which […]
Mizzou came out against a more-than-game Jackrabbits team and lost six of ten matches, including the last five of the dual. O’Toole and Mocco both missed this dual, and the broadcast said O’Toole was healthy but resting. There was also a lineup change at 133lbs where we saw Connor Brown instead of Trey Crawford who […]
#12 Mizzou 23 #17 Oklahoma 14 Mizzou came out and just looked flat after not wrestling for almost a month. Two overtime losses, a one-point decision, and a one-sided match all led to Mizzou having a surprisingly close dual. Mocco missed this dual, but it doesn’t sound like anything significant so heshould be back. This […]
#12 Mizzou (6-2) vs #17 Oklahoma (5-2) All Time Record vs: 13-42 Mizzou had their SIUE dual canceled, so this will be their first dual of 2022 after winning the Southern Scuffle. Oklahoma is coming off a 3-0 performance at the Virginia duals, but most of their ranked wrestlers did suffer upset losses. Mizzou last […]
#11 Mizzou at Southern Scuffle Mizzou heads to their first tournament of the new year which features wrestlers from seven Top 25 teams. Unfortunately, due to COVID, most teams won’t be sending a full lineup, so some weights aren’t as strong as others. On the bright side for Mizzou however, this means that they are […]
Final: Mizzou 26 Lehigh 9 I was worried about the possibility of Mizzou coming out flat after a tough loss to NC State day one, but they came out and wrestled one of the best duals I’ve seen from them aside from the match at 157lbs. Surtin continues his breakout season with another win over […]
#10 Mizzou vs #21 Lehigh All Time Record vs: 3-2 After beating Binghamton and losing to NC State, Mizzou will face #21 Lehigh. Lehigh beat Central Michigan 25-6 and lost to #1 Iowa 28-7. They currently feature five ranked wrestlers, but that number is likely to go up after some upsets. After a tough, emotional […]
16 min read #10 Mizzou 33 Binghamton 6 #10 Mizzou 12 North Carolina State 19 In the first day of National Duals, Mizzou had mixed results. They managed to win nine of ten matches against Binghamton, but few came easy. In the NC State dual, Mizzou won some individual battles but ultimately lost the war, being […]
#10 Mizzou vs #5 North Carolina State All Time Record vs: 2-3 The last time Mizzou wrestled NC State they split matches going 5-5 each, and Mizzou lost 18-17 in 2016. Unfortunately, this could end up with a similar finish as both teams are favored in five matches each. 19 of the 20 wrestlers here […]
All Time Record vs: 1-0 The last time Mizzou faced Binghamton was back in 2002 where they won 40-6, and I’m looking for Mizzou to get a shutout here. Binghamton does have two ranked wrestlers including one All-American in Louie DePrez. They’re a seasoned team having seven duals and two tournaments under their belt already […]
