After spending three years at Oak Park High School, Lucas Oitker is starting a new chapter in his high school career.
For his senior year, he and his family moved to the Park Hill South School District as he will finish his three-sport career as a Panther.
The senior participates in three sports — baseball, wrestling and football. As a wrestler, Oitker has consistently been ranked in MissouriWrestling.com’s top six at 182 pounds in Class 4.
However, right now, Oitker is focused on football and he has helped the Panthers to a blazing 6-0 start. He’s running back and is in a three-man committee with Briggs Bartosh and Darrien Jones.
“I am extremely happy with how my year has gone so far,” Oitker said. “We always compete. There is something special about this team. We always say #DEAL which means disciple, edge, accountability and most importantly learn. We are held to that standard every single day.
