At 131, MBU didn’t send a wrestler out to give William Woods their first points of the night and close the gap to 15 (20-5).

At 138 lbs. was the first contested match of the evening and after giving up an initial 2 points, it was all Teani Medeiros-Maielua (junior) of William Woods.  She scored 2 impressive 4-point takedowns in the second half of the first period but was unable to secure the fall.  After the intermission, it didn’t take her long to score a 3rd 4-point takedown and finish off her opponent with a pin.
