The Tigers started the season with a sweep at the Missouri Duals and take a big jump in competition this weekend with the Tiger Style Invite. Now held at the Hearnes instead of Staley High School, it gives Mizzou fans a great opportunity to see some high level competition.

Teams include #14 Little Rock, #16 Oklahoma, #24 South Dakota State, and #23 Purdue. They likely won’t have every ranked wrestler here but should have some solid brackets with a number of starters and intriguing depth wrestlers getting opportunities to compete.

125: PREVIEW

Wrestlers To Watch: #23 Beric Jordan (OU), #29 Brady Roark (SDSU), #31 Mack Mauger (MIZ), UR Jeremiah Reno (LR), UR Isaiah Quintero (PUR), UR Conrad Hendriksen (OU)

This weight is filled with young talent that will be looking to establish themselves as more than just a fringe qualifier. Of the six wrestlers listed, five of them are freshmen/sophomore. Beric Jordan (#16), Isaiah Quintero (#48), and Mack Mauger (#125) were all blue chippers on the 2024 Big Board. Jordan is the favorite, coming off a redshirt season where he was 12-3 and only lost to qualifiers. Last season Roark was 7-0 with multiple wins over qualifiers. Mack Mauger is coming in ranked but actually has a loss to Quintero from the Invite last season.

Liberty, Missouri grad Jeremiah Reno is a veteran at the weight as a senior coming off redshirt. He hasn’t qualified but has been on the bubble for his career.
