#3 Mizzou – 1st (188.5 Points) The statement I heard from every Mizzou wrestler and head coach Brian Smith for this event was that their season was starting and ending in Kansas City. The start was the second annual Tiger Style Invite at Staley High School, where the Tigers dominated with 12 in the finals […]
The Tigers have added another in-state 2025 recruit in Columbia’s own Hank Benter. Benter is a 2x Missouri State Champ for Hickman High School, winning titles at 106 and 113lbs. Benter took an official visit earlier this season that included commits Logan Cole and Jake Stoffel. A strong class currently lead by Missouri recruits, other […]
Mizzou kicks off their 2023-2024 season with their second annual Tiger Style Invite at Staley High School. Joining them is Lindenwood, Little Rock, SIUE, Cal Poly, and #29 Maryland. Illinois was here last year, but the Tigers will see them later this year in STL. I have some expected starters, but things like that are […]
While the Tigers didn’t send starters, a number of Mizzou wrestlers got an opportunity to compete at the Maryville Kaufman Open this Saturday. Mizzou held their annual Black and Gold dual to kickoff the 2024 season this weekend. The event saw brackets at open weights 133 and 149, and an important weight change with a returning All-American. Brock Mauller is going up to 157 and took out redshirt freshman Cam Steed in a close match. Last year starters […]

They’ve finished in the top 10 for eight seasons in a row, including six seasons in the top six at NCAA’s. Despite that, they have only one team trophy in that time with a top four finish in 2015. […]

I’ll be using InterMat’s Team Dual rankings for this one, where Mizzou is currently ranked #3. 10/28: Black & Gold […]
Mizzou’s 2024 class is up to seven recruits in 2024, and just got their first verbal commitment for the class of 2025. Peyton Westpfahl posted a commitment to the Tigers after a recent visit during the LSU football game. The rising junior competes for powerhouse Liberty High School in Kansas City. A 2x MO State […]
While Mizzou hasn’t had too many lineup changes in recent years, this season will see at least three new starters. Connor Brown, Allan Hart, and Jarrett Jacques have graduated, leaving Mizzou’s #4 ranked 2022 recruiting class an opportunity to step in. While there’s chances for changes, this is what’s expected coming into this year. With […]
