Now that the first semester is finished, it’s a good time to look at how wrestlers are performing based on expectations and assigning a grade is a simple way to do that. With no tournaments on the schedule, the schedule picks up with four top ten duals in the second semester.
The Tigers hosted Illinois in the Stifel Theatre, the first sporting event at the historic venue. Streamed by UFC Fight Pass and with a great commentary crew of David Taylor and Jim Gibbons, Mizzou came away with a 29-6 win. They scored bonus points in three matches, winning eight overall. J Conway stepped up for […]

The Tigers stayed undefeated with another dominating performance, taking out Wyoming 40-6. The team won nine matches, scoring bonus points in six of them. That was including missing typical starters Josh Edmond and Logan Gioffre. That didn’t matter, as Mizzou flexed it’s depth by scoring upsets at 133 and 149. After starting last week’s dual […]

Mizzou held their home opener in the Hearnes and came away with a blowout win against Arizona State. Admittedly it was not the Sun Devils full lineup, and they’re a stronger tournament team (#6) than dual team (#16), but Mizzou dominated with eight bonus point wins. The Tigers have some time off, but open up […]
