Mizzou finished their Big 12 tournament in 8th place with 65.5 points, their lowest finish at Big 12’s but that is partially because of how small the conference used to be. They got a conference champ with Keegan O’Toole winning his fourth conference and third Big 12 title. Conway also won his medal match, strengthening his case for an At-Large. Moore and Steed both dropped their placement matches but still qualified.
Currently the Tigers only have three automatic qualifiers, which would be their lowest since 2001. Looking at the current situation I think Josh Edmond, J Conway, and Colton Hawks are in good shape to get one. If that were the case, it would be the fewest qualiifers for them since 2010 with six.
133lbs: Kade Moore – 4th Place (3-2) Qualified
- First Round: Kade Moore Maj. Gavin Caprella (AF) (15-3)

- Consi Semis: Kade Moore Inj. Def. Derrick Cardinal (SDSU)
- 3rd Place Match: #16 Julian Farber (UNI) Dec. Kade Moore (10-6)

Moore started his day with a first period injury default against seven seed Cardinal. Moore had a good takedown but in the process Cardinal was injured and advanced Moore. Against Farber he gave up a takedown late in the first. He got two nearfall on a turn in the second but was reversed in the process. Moore tried to open up in the third but Farber countered him for the win. Overall a great finish for Moore who came in unseeded but was able to get a big upset and qualify.
