Ruskin looking to turn youth and inexperience into more formidable lineup

By: Ross Martin

Ruskin didn’t have a Class 3 Missouri State Wrestling Championships qualifier out of the difficult Class 3 District 4 field in 2018-19. The Eagles only had five wrestlers in the field, and coach Mike Stypolkowski already has at least eight in his plans for a lineup in 2019-20.

Ruskin junior Raikuan Jones (113) and seniors Jonah Mosier (152) and Jordan Baker (195) were in the district field a year ago, while junior Jerome Tyler brings varsity experience from his time at Raytown. In addition, Stypolkowski has juniors Javon Hampton (138) and Jaylon Hampton (145) and sophomore Matt Jones (160) looking to build experience.
