OMAHA, Neb. – It was a weekend of tough battles and hard-fought matches for the athletes of Tiger Style Wrestling Club at the recent competition. Several standout wrestlers competed across multiple weight classes, with varying results, showing resilience and skill against top-tier opponents.

MEN’S DIVISION:

79 KG – Keegan O’Toole (Record: 2-2)

Keegan O’Toole, a rising star from the Tiger Style Wrestling Club, entered the tournament with high expectations. O’Toole faced stiff competition but managed to secure two victories in his four matches. His weekend started with a dominating 11-0 technical superiority win over Andrew Dickson from George Mason University in Bout 25. O’Toole followed that up with a first-round bye, setting the stage for tougher opponents.

In Bout 75, O’Toole squared off against David Carr of Cyclone RTC, a familiar foe. O’Toole’s persistence paid off as he earned a hard-fought 9-4 victory, adding another win to his record. However, his momentum slowed in his next two bouts, falling to Levi Haines from the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club in a 6-0 shutout (Bout 230) and dropping a 6-0 decision to Chance Marsteller from NJRTC in Bout 128. Despite the losses, O’Toole’s resilience and tactical acumen were evident as he continues to improve at the highest level.

70 KG – Jarrett Jacques (Record: 1-2)

Jarrett Jacques faced a challenging field in the 70 kg division, finishing with a 1-2 record. Jacques’ highlight came in Bout 16, where he outlasted Daniel Cardenas from Bear Cave Wrestling Club with an 8-2 victory. His ability to control the pace and capitalize on key opportunities secured his win.

Unfortunately, Jacques was unable to carry that momentum forward. He faced two narrow defeats, first to Jackson Arrington of Wolfpack WC by a score of 4-2 in Bout 168, and later, an 8-3 loss to PJ Duke from KD Training Center in Bout 71. Despite the setbacks, Jacques showed he can compete at a high level and will be looking to refine his game moving forward.

92 KG – Aeoden Sinclair (Record: 1-2)

Aeoden Sinclair, another promising competitor from Tiger Style, delivered an impressive performance in his opening match, securing an 11-0 technical fall over Connor Mirasola from Nittany Lion Wrestling Club in Bout 35. Sinclair’s dominant showing was a testament to his offensive firepower and mat awareness.

However, Sinclair faced adversity in his next two bouts, suffering a close 10-7 loss to Nick Stemmet from Illinois in Bout 177 and falling 13-5 to Jonathan Aiello from Penn RTC in Bout 80. Despite these losses, Sinclair continues to gain valuable experience and remains a formidable contender in his weight class for the Mizzou Tiger freshman.

WOMEN’S DIVISION:

65 KG – Eve Herlyn (Record: 0-2)

It was a tough outing for Eve Herlyn, who was unable to find her rhythm in her matches. In Bout 45, Herlyn was defeated by Claire Dicugno from Team Tornado Wrestling Club via a 10-0 technical fall. Her second loss came in Bout 187, where she was pinned by Ana Luciano of NYAC. Despite these losses, Herlyn’s commitment to growth and development remains strong as she continues to push forward in her wrestling career. Eve is a national champ and will be ready to take to the mat this upcoming season.

59 KG – Jacarra Winchester (Record: 4-0, Champion)

In a stellar performance, Missouri Valley alum Jacarra Winchester dominated the 59 kg weight class, finishing as the undisputed champion with a perfect 4-0 record. Winchester’s aggressive and tactical wrestling was on full display, winning all four of her matches by technical superiority.

Winchester’s path to victory started with a 10-0 victory over Bridgette Duty from Army WCAP in Bout 132, followed by another commanding 11-0 win against Michaela Beck of USOPTC in Bout 276. She continued her dominance by repeating the scoreline against Beck in Bout 264 and capping off her tournament with a 10-0 victory over Alexandra Szkotnicki of Bearcat Wrestling Club in Bout 86. Winchester’s ability to control each match from start to finish solidifies her position as one of the top competitors in her division.
