February 13–14 | Where Growth Meets the Grind

If Class 1 showed the rise of Missouri girls wrestling, Class 2 proves it has arrived. February 13th and 14th will be a date you won’t want to miss all across Missouri as Class 2 looks to start they run for the State Championships in Columbia, Missouri.

From powerhouse programs to nationally tested individuals, the Class 2 district tournaments on February 13th and 14th will showcase the deepest, most competitive brackets the state has ever produced.

Freshmen phenoms, returning state champions, and seasoned seniors collide in districts where simply qualifying for state is an accomplishment. And nowhere is that more evident than District 3 and District 4 with multiple brackets so stacked they resemble state tournaments themselves.

This is the next chapter in Missouri women’s wrestling and the stakes have never been higher.

District 1:
Experience Meets Momentum Host: Northwest (Cedar Hill) | February 13–14 District 1 brings a balanced mix of veteran experience and rising challengers across seven ranked weight classes.

The Headliner At 110 pounds, Kayleigh Milam (Jackson) enters as one of the most battle-tested wrestlers in Class 2. A returning state finalist, Milam has faced elite competition all season placing 5th at KC Stampede and finishing runner-up at Wonder Woman against Illinois standout Chloe Skiles. Her poise and consistency make her the standard in this district.

Senior Spotlight Few seniors are finishing stronger than Ella Kimbrough (Lafayette). Now at 155, the returning state medalist has thrived in her new weight class, making the KC Stampede finals and placing third at Wonder Woman. Her final postseason run has all the makings of something special.
