Lindbergh vs Rockwood Summit dual preview

This rivalry duel was rebirthed back in the 2015-16 season when these two clubs decided to restart their annual duel meet by putting the “Wings” trophy on the line.

The two schools share a little league program in Rockwood-Lindbergh, which is one of the larger programs in the St. Louis area.

The past four seasons have been split between the two programs with the Flyers taking the trophy home to Sunset Hills in 2016 and 2017 with overwhelming victories against the Falcons.

Then the Falcons squeaked out a couple of close wins in some tight duels the past two seasons.

This rivalry duel may be defined as friendly but guarantees some bragging rights between the schools. Both teams have wrestlers on their varsity lineups that have come through their joint little league program.
