#18 Mizzou (11-7) vs #20 Oklahoma (10-4)

Where to Watch: Thursday, February 12th at 6:30 PM on ESPN+

The Tigers host their Senior Night and unofficial SEC Dual Championship on Thursday against a Sooner team that has quietly won their last two duals very solidly. Oklahoma was looking to make noise this season with a big transfer class, but injuries have slowed the momentum down as of late. They still have a number of ranked starters and podium threats for some big matches here.

Missouri has won their last three duals and more than doubled their win count from last season already. After a 23-13 loss to the Sooners last year, the team will be looking to get back on track with a win here but will need to look for bonus points and win some swing matches. There are premier matches at 174 and 197 with other ranked win opportunities at 141, 184, and 285.

The Home-State Showdown

The headline matchup at 174 pounds isn’t just about rankings or seeding; for Cam Steed, it’s deeply personal. The Collinsville, Oklahoma, native was a four-time state champion for the Cardinals and the 2022 Oklahoma “Mr. Wrestling” winner. Now a returning All-American for Mizzou, he faces a home-state team in Oklahoma that he’s already seen once this year.

174: No. 16 Cam Steed (MIZ) fall Gunner Holland (LR), 0:16

After a narrow loss to Carter Schubert at the Tiger Style Invite while battling illness, Steed, the reigning Big 12 Wrestler of the Week, is finally healthy and looking for redemption on Senior Night. We break down the keys to this top-10 rematch later in the preview, but the dual starts with a critical battle at the lightest weight class.

125lbs: #26 Mack Mauger (17-10) vs #32 Conrad Hendricksen (12-10)

Hendricksen is one of the tougher guys that doesn’t get a ton of national attention. He has a very short build which makes it hard to get to his legs and he has a lot of power from neutral. He started for OU in 2024 and has consistently scored very solid wins between some unranked losses. He has solid attacks from neutral himself, with a lot of power to elevate opponents to finish. He can put on a solid ride but isn’t a huge threat from top.

Mauger’s handfighting could give Hendricksen difficulties positioning wise. He’s coming off a match where he struggled to get his offense going against a lanky opponent but should be able to get to legs in this one. This will be a good test of his finishing abilities as well. I’ll take Mauger in a workmanlike decision where he may need a few takedowns to pull away.
