Drury Wrestling continues to celebrate its success both on and off the mat. Today the we recognize six grapplers for their academic success in being honored as National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Academic scholars.

Brandon Borlinghaus becomes a Scholar All-American for the first time as a freshman while teammates Connor Zimmermann, Peter Kuster, Sam Schultz, and Will Kuster have been honored multiple times as NWCA Scholar All-Americans. Tucker Caswell is now a 4X NWCA Scholar All-American as he has made the list every year since he has been a panther.

As a program Drury Wrestling accomplishes another first by being recognized as the 2022 NWCA All-Academic Team National Champions with a Team GPA of 3.542.

Drury Wrestling always ranks in the top 20 for team GPA and recently has multiple years within the top 10 before finally reaching to the very top this season. The 3.542 team GPA is the 4th highest since the Scholar All-American started in 1993 and is only the 7th time a program has come in with a GPA above a 3.5.
