Current Drury Wrestler and Jefferson City grad, Peter Kuster, nationally ranked

Drury Sophomore Peter Kuster has cracked the NCAA DII Coaches Poll Rankings for the first time in his young career.

Peter is currently ranked #10 in the most recent poll that is the first one since the original preseason rankings.

Kuster is currently 5-1 on the season with a 3rd place finish at the Maryville Kaufman Brand Bayly Open tournament and before that he downed the then #7 ranked Kiem (UCO) in Drury’s dual against the Broncho’s.

“Peter is an incredible young man. He has quickly become a leader on the team through example and pushes his teammates every day in the room. We have a room full of guys just like him that will soon be working to join him in the spotlight.”

The Panthers will compete at home this weekend as Drury host the 3rd Annual Drury Open. The tournament is hosted in Weiser and Mabee gyms on the campus of Drury University on December 7th with action starting at 9 a.m.
