Blue Springs head coach Bobbe Lowe said it will take a lot of things to go right for his team to finish in the top four at the Missouri State High School Wrestling Championships in February.
But so far, in a strong Suburban Gold Conference, things have been going right for the Wildcats. And a conference championship could help Blue Springs build momentum for state. It improved to 3-0 in the Conference after a 42-31 victory over Raymore-Peculiar.
“We may not be one of the most talented teams we’ve had in the past couple of years, but we got a pretty good balance,” Lowe said. “We have some kids who are seasoned and some who are pretty new. We are putting some things together. We’re doing all right.”
