LIBERTY – Liberty’s grueling schedule has finally come to an end. During the past two months, the Blue Jays have encountered some incredibly tough competition.

Missouri’s top-ranked Class 4 team has withstood challenges from the top squads from across the state. Liberty claimed the championships at the prestigious KC Stampede and Winnetonka Invitational. And the Blue Jays have even excelled at an out-of-state tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and represented the Show-Me State well at the nationally acclaimed Beat the Streets Brawl in Chicago while standing up against some of the best teams in the country.

“We really need a break,” Liberty head coach Dustin Brewer admitted. “It’s been a long couple of weeks. We’re a little banged up, and we need to make sure we’re getting healthy for districts.”
