Westminster Lady Blue Jays First Wrestling Senior Night

The first senior night for the Westminster Lady Blue Jays in program history. There’s something to be said about being the first.

It can be nerve racking, lonely, but also thrilling knowing your’e breaking new ground. Yes, there’s only one senior this year, Taylor Reed, wrestling for Westminster but more will come following in her footsteps.

She was their first recruit for the Westminster Blue Jays women’s wrestling team after graduating from Battle High School.

At one point, she was the only lady wrestler on the roster. She and like her fellow senior on the men’s side (Montgomery Mills), had to endure the “Covid Year.”

Both of these wrestlers helped the Westminster Wrestling Program gain its early footing in both the local and national scenes.
