Undefeated Paige Wehr starts off-season training

By: Austin Denson

Parkway West’s undefeated state champ Paige Wehr has started her off-season training at Purler Wrestling. Wehr, a junior, went 23-0 on her way to the top of the podium for the 2020-2021 season. Of Wehr’s 23 victories 14 came by pin.

Including in her junior season are district and sectional championships as well as the St. Clair tournament title.

Wehr isn’t looking to lose her top spot on the podium anytime soon and we’re sure she’ll look even better next season after a summer with Purler.

Still uncommitted and motivated her fellow wrestlers better keep an eye out!
