The Fall Brawl Tournament is one of the biggest offseason tournaments every year.
The 2025 version featured high school boys wrestlers from the Midwest including Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas and so on, as it took place last Saturday at Staley High School.
Missouri boys fared well as there were two who won their brackets and several others who placed in the top six to earn a medal at the event.
Below is a breakdown of the top Missouri boys finishers in each weight bracket:
106 pounds: Alex Hall is a freshman at St. Pius X High School and he will be someone to lookout for in the upcoming high school season in the winter. He showed why as he won his bracket, which included a championship win in which he had the winning takedown with 5 seconds left against Jackson Thorn of Minnesota in a 9-8 decision.
“I think that match, I showed a lot of grit, which is good,” Hall said. “I think that gave me a good amount of experience going into the high school season to help me get into my positions.”
