| Keys to success in the 2020-21 season: | |||||||||||||
| We are a young team with limited experience. Our key to success this season is in how we prepare. We have to learn how to drill properly and be good partners in the room. We need to improve on the fundamentals of wrestling along with the mental side of the sport. If we can approach each day with the right mindset and compete in the room I believe we will have success. | |||||||||||||
| Concerns about the lineup or challenges for the team this season: | |||||||||||||
| We have limited numbers and are giving up quite a few opens. Winning duals is a tough thing to do when you are open in four or five weights. We are going to have to find a way to fill the line up the best we can and to pick up bonus points if we want to compete. | |||||||||||||

| We have a great group of young people in the room representing our school and community. They are preparing the correct way and adjusting well to a new coach. The progression they have already made at this point in the season has us really excited on what they can accomplish this season. | |||||||||||||

| With everything going on with COVID I think it’s important that we stress the importance of each day. My expectation is we embrace the opportunity to compete and get better everyday. If they will buy into that mindset we will win our share of matches, duals, and get kids to the state tournament. | |||||||||||||
