2020-2021 Outlook
Keys to success in the 2020-21 season:
We need to continue to improve on a daily basis. Being focused and present at every practice, concentrating on details.
Concerns about the lineup or challenges for the team this season:
This season has already been a challenge with the circumstances that surround the COVID pandemic. We lost some key members of our unit from last year, but we are ready for new faces to step up and take those spots for their own.
Please list any impact freshman or transfers
Jim Humphrey FR.
How will the newcomers/transfers help?
Jim adds depth to our line-up.
Coach’s quote on overall thoughts about the team:
We have strong leadership in our room and need them to continue to step up and set the tone for our team. We have some new faces in our line-up and will need them to improve daily to get to where the expectations are for Trojan wrestler. We are excited to be able to compete and look forward to putting the best team out there throughout the season, and to come home with some medals in February.
Coach’s quote on expectations for this year’s team:
There are always high expectations in our room. With so much uncertainty in going on right now, we have to reign in expectations, and focus on our daily habits and work ethic. If we control all that we can control, we will be successful every time we step on the mat. We expect some of our fresh faces in the line up to shock some people as the season progresses.
