2020-2021 Outlook
Keys to success in the 2020-21 season:
The biggest key for us to have a successful year is staying healthy, we have all fallen into a good weight cert, and are where we need to be already. The rest is just staying healthy and fixing a few bad habits on the mat.
Concerns about the lineup or challenges for the team this season:
The lineup across the board is as strong as it has ever been in Maysville in my opinion the only downfall is we have been injury prone the last couple of years and it has taken away a lot of the season for the boys.
Please list any impact freshman or transfers
The freshmen bunch as a whole for us seems to be pretty solid we have 6 or 7 freshmen and they will all be hard to beat.
How will the newcomers/transfers help?
The freshmen coming in will fill up my lower weight classes, while the upperclassman fill the heavy spots. This makes for a solid lineup.
Coach’s quote on overall thoughts about the team:
I think this team might be the most solid team I have been apart of coaching too to bottom of the lineup. I think talent wise we can move several on to the state tournament, it should be a fun year.
Coach’s quote on expectations for this year’s team:
The expectation for this team is for everyone to be above 500 wrestlers on the year and make a run at winning conference again for the first time in 5 years.

What do you think?
