General thoughts on your program and team

• (SR) Damian Dockery – 4 Year Starter, closing in on 100 Career Wins, Returning State Qualifier, worked extremely hard this offseason including attending some offseason tournaments. Last Year he wrestled in a Tournament Final 4x

• (SR) Mathew Derecichei – Last season was his first in the varsity lineup, any year other that COVID would be a returning State Qualifier (he finished 4th at Sectionals). Great Leader and works hard in the room. Made the podium at several tournaments last season

• (SR) Dusty Stevens – Sophomore year filled in for 2x State Medalist Will Snider while he was injured. Last year as a Junior the spot was his full time, any year other that COVID would be a returning State Qualifier (he finished 4th at the Sectionals). I consider him to be the leader in the room, he is the hardest worker, unbelievable heart. He finished in the TOP 3 at every tournament during the regular season

• (SR) Ben Wirtel Last season was his first in the varsity lineup, any year other that COVID would be a returning State Qualifier (he finished 4th at Sectionals). He has a very unusual style that makes him very hard to deal with. He was the Kinloch Classic Champion and Big 8 Champion. He was on the podium at every tournament we attended last year.

• We were able to go back to NEO this summer, it always a good experience. We get tough matches and the kids get to spend 3 days in the dorms together, it is a good bonding experience. We also hosted a Summer Dual tournament were we saw the 10X State Champs Whitefield, so we were battle tested this summer.
