General thoughts on your program and team

Once we fill our lower weights we should be competitive from top to bottom. B Pelt, Neal, and Calentine all qualified for the regional last year and look to take the next step to state this season. If our newcomers step up and our non qualifiers continue to improve we should contend for our conference championship and maybe a district championship.

Our seniors, Douglas, Clement and May have big plans for the season. All three were at the state tournament last season. Clement and May were one match from wrestling for a state championship so they have to take the next step. We hope to get Ty Douglas on the podium this season as well.

We are excited about being in a conference after 21 years of wrestling as an independent. The Greater Missouri Wrestling Conference has some quality teams and we look forward to the competition the end of January.
