#12 Mizzou – 10th (9.0 Points)

125lbs: #13 Noah Surtin

  • Champ. Round 1: #20 Stevo Poulin (UNCO) Dec. Noah Surtin (3-1)

Next Match: Cons. Round 1 – #29 Brendan McCrone (Ohio State)

125 has been crazy already, and Surtin unfortunately was on the receiving end of some chaos. Drawing last year’s Big 12 champ in the first round was tough, and a lone takedown was the difference. Surtin came razor close to getting swipes off a tilt, but wasn’t able to hold long enough. He now sees Brendan McCrone, a true freshman who has wins over Dean Peterson and Jakob Camacho.

133lbs: #26 Kade Moore

  • Champ. Round 1: #7 Nasir Bailey (LR) Dec. #26 Kade Moore (10-4)

Next Match: Cons. Round 1 – #10 Aaron Nagao (Penn State)

141lbs: #21 Josh Edmond

  • Champ. Round 1: #21 Josh Edmond Dec. #12 Wyatt Henson (LH) (SV 4-1)

Next Match: Champ. Round 2 – #5 Anthony Echemendia (Iowa State)

Edmond had a great opportunity in his opening round match and he took advantage. While there wasn’t anything too crazy throughout the match, Edmond used an…
