With the growing success of high school wrestling in Missouri, I’m going to start highlighting every senior wrestler currently committed to a Division I school. With only two Division I schools in the state, more and more talent is spread across the country.
Logan Burks is two-time state placer and four-time qualifier for the powerhouse Staley High School. He placed 5th as a freshman, followed by a runner-up finish at 113.
He then qualified at 120 as a junior and 138 as a senior. He has a career record of 130-38, including 26 pins as a senior.
Burks is committed to Lindenwood, who is still transitioning to Division I and won’t be eligible for the post season until the 2027 season.
If Burks took a redshirt in 2024 and broke the starting lineup, he would have two years of eligibility remaining for the Lions….
