With the growing success of high school wrestling in Missouri, I’m going to start highlighting every senior wrestler currently committed to a Division I school.

With only two Division I schools in the state, more and more talent is spread across the country.

Kolby McClain is a four-time state placer who spent three years at Smithville before transferring to Liberty High School.

He placed 3rd at 106 as a freshman, 5th at 120, 5th at 126, and 2nd at 150.

A career record of 143-29, McClain placed 5th at the 2023 Dan Gable Donnybrook and 3rd at the 2022 Cheesehead Invitational…
