Recruit Spotlight: Griffin Ray, Hillsboro / Nebraska

With the growing success of high school wrestling in Missouri, I’m going to start highlighting every senior wrestler currently committed to a Division I school.

With only two Division I schools in the state, more and more talent is spread across the country.

Griffin Ray won the 165 title this year for Hillsboro High School, adding to a 5th place finish in 2020 and a 3rd place finish in 2021.

A career record of 160-16, it includes a 5th place finish at the 2022 Cheesehead Invitational, a runner-finish at the Kyle Thrasher tournament, and 33 pins as a senior…
