Ohio Dual Preview By: Sean Mael
#24 Connor Brown (4-2) vs. Gio Disabato (0-1)
Connor Brown has been extremely solid this campaign. His only two losses of the season were both in overtime against wrestlers currently ranked in the top six in the country. Brown had a very legitimate chance to come out on top in both of those matches, as he was leading both with less than a minute remaining in regulation. If Brown can finish matches a little stronger, then he will be a scary opponent for just about anyone in the country. I expect to see Brown push for bonus points here and do some work both from the top position and on his feet. Disabato has not wrestled since the first dual of the season and Ohio might forfeit here, as they did in their last competition. I like Brown to go out aggressive and get a hard match in until he secures a technical fall late in the third period. Brown can be a hammer from top when he wants to be and I think we will see that in spades here, especially if Disabato is a bit rusty.
