Preview: #10 Mizzou (2-2) vs #18 North Dakota State (4-1)

All Time Record vs: 4-0

After another close loss to a top ten team on the road Mizzou will be headed back to the Hearnes for a conference dual. Last year Mizzou beat the Bison 37-3 on the road. NDSU is having a very solid year after taking out now #15 Nebraska. There are three potentially big matches at 141, 157, and 165. No word on what’s going on with Jacques, so there’s a chance we see Gioffre get another start. While Mizzou is heavily favored, NDSU has the wrestlers that can put up big points if the Tigers don’t come out ready.

125lbs: Peyton Moore (6-6) vs Carlos Negrete Jr. (5-4)

Moore is 1-1 in duals now, but has a decent chance to get another conference win as a starter. Negrete has some decent wins, but has struggled against a majority of Division I competition. Moore can struggle to get his offense going at times, but if he comes out aggressive early, some of his work on top could really work out. Both wrestlers are young, and I think Moore can get a win here if he trusts his offense. However, I’ll take Negrete to get a decision win here.

Prediction: Negrete Dec. Moore (MIZ 0 NDSU 3)
