Mizzou Commit Report: Peyton Westpfahl

Mizzou’s 2024 class is up to seven recruits in 2024, and just got their first verbal commitment for the class of 2025. Peyton Westpfahl posted a commitment to the Tigers after a recent visit during the LSU football game. The rising junior competes for powerhouse Liberty High School in Kansas City.

A 2x MO State Placer, he was 5th as a freshman at 160lbs then finished 2nd at 175lbs. A career record of 65-12, he has also placed at the Dan Gable Donnybrook and won the Southern Plains Regional. Over the summer he placed 7th to finish as a Junior Freestyle All-American at Fargo.

Currently he is the second highest recruit from Missouri on the 2025 board, just one spot behind heavyweight Sampson Stillwell. Westpfahl is #46 overall and #10 at 190lbs. With two years left in high school his weight could continue to change, but currently projects as a 184lber in college.
