Missouri Girls K–8 rankings have arrived! This year’s list features national-level champions and mult-time placers in every weight class. From the lightest weights to heavyweight, the talent is spread across every division, and the matchups coming this season are a must-watch.
These rankings reflect more than just potential — they reflect results. With national-level experience spread throughout the brackets, this season sets up for some of the most competitive girls matchups Missouri has seen to date. The rivalries are real, the stakes are clear, and the separation at the top will come down to performance on the mat.
50 lbs: Blakley Reed and Kaisynn Keefhaver are on a collision course once again after their nail-biter at last season’s state tournament. Since then, Kaisynn has made a major move, joining Open Mats under Coach Tyler Thompson, which this shift that could change everything. The question now: has the training boost closed the gap enough to dethrone Blakley? This rivalry is far from settled.
65 lbs: For years, Quincy Parn has struck fear not only into girls’ brackets, but into boys’ brackets as well. She’s been the standard at this weight. Up until now enters Adalynn Porter, the standout fresh off a 4th-place finish at Tulsa Kickoff. The confidence is rising, the pressure is building, and the throne suddenly feels less secure.
75 lbs: Few stories are more compelling than Kaitlyn Schull’s rise. From not placing at state last season to climbing all the way to 4th at Tulsa Kickoff. Her rise to the top has been quite the story to follow. But now she faces the ultimate test: Can returning state champion Gabriell Blackson bring her back to earth? This match is circled in bold ink and a must-watch.
101 lbs. vs. 95 lbs: Remi Downing vs. Kinsley Rife. Two Tulsa Kickoff placers. Two relentless competitors. Two styles that promise chaos if they when they meet again. This potential matchup already has fans buzzing, and if it happens again, expect nonstop action from whistle to whistle.
107 lbs: Farynn Rhees and Miley Oberg delivered one of the most action-packed matches of the fall at Fall Brawl. Rhees earned the 6–0 win, but anyone watching knows the score didn’t tell the full story. Miley never stopped pushing forward, never backed down from the pace, and never stopped attacking. A rematch feels inevitable and if it comes down to it, expect adjustments from the coaches of Open Mats to come with a game plan and for Miley to be ready for the challenge.
165 lbs: Mahlea Talato and Kinley Huskey is another showdown likely to happen as both are returning state champions, who are set on a path that feels destined to intersect. Talato comes in fresh off a dominant 1st-place finish at Tulsa Kickoff, but Huskey has never been one to shy away from the moment. Does the reigning Kickoff champ hold firm, or will Huskey rewrite the script?

Final Thoughts
The current Missouri Girls K–8 rankings show a division that is built on results, not predictions. Many of these athletes have already been tested at state and national tournaments, and several weight classes are wide open. Rivalries are forming, the competition is tight, and small mistakes will matter. As the season continues, these rankings will change based on who stays consistent and who continues to show up when it counts.
