The Mexico Lady Bulldogs entered this evenings dual with a modest 5-3 dual record on the season. Whereas, , the Centralia Lady Panthers are undefeated in duals this season at 6-0. This is largely part due to the Lady Panthers boasting a near full lineup all season long. In addition to this, they have two top-ranked wrestlers (Ava Ward and Jacyi Shelton).
The Lady Panthers, lined up their lightweights to take the open weights at 100 lbs., 110 lbs., 115 lbs. and 120 lbs. and built a 24-0 nothing lead before the first wrestled match took place. At 125 lbs., it would be a rematch of Monday’s semi-final bout at the Brick City Classic between Bodine (Centralia) and Mena (Mexico). This match ended very similar to the one on Monday, with Bone getting the pin halfway through the second period.
Centralia would also take two more wins by forfeits at 130 and 135 lbs. Building their lead to 42-0 entering the 140 lb. matchup.
