MSHSAA decided to not split the girls division for wrestling this year and did away with Sectionals (which was a temporary COVID adaptation) so each District will be composed of over 50 teams each. The District 2 tournament is being held at the brand new North Point High School in Wentzville

Here’s a short preview of each weight Mexico is slated to compete in over the two-day District 2 Tournament. Most of the data comes from trackwrestling.com or ranked wrestler’s website as they update their database on a daily basis.

Mexico’s current projected seed via Ranked Wrestler: 2

Notes: The top group of girls in this bracket is stacked with 3 of the top 4 wrestlers are returning state medalists. Bowen holds the number 2 seed down due to either beating or placing higher than the 3 and 4 seeds. Regardless of who makes it through at this weight, they will be battle tested going into the state tournament.
