  • 23 teams, including state-ranked wrestlers, were in attendance
  • Lady Bulldogs faced tough competition, with most wrestlers losing matches

  • Lady Bulldogs have District Tournament next before potentially qualifying for State Tournament

Several of the Mexico Lady Bulldogs were needing a final tune-up before the District Tournament and the Lady Herd Invite was one of those tournaments available for them.  In addition to Mexico, there were four other District 2 Tournament teams in attendance (Blair Oaks, Fulton, Boonville, and North Callaway).  In addition to these five teams, there were 18 other teams, for a total of 23.  Several of these teams currently have state-ranked wrestlers.  The different possible matchups also would give the Lady Bulldogs potential state tournament matchups, should they be able to qualify for the state tournament next weekend.
