The latest high school girls wrestling rankings for the 2023-24 season have been released in November 2023 by key organizations including USA Wrestling, FloWrestling, and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum. These rankings encompass female wrestlers in grades 8-12 across the United States.
The preseason, featuring major events like Super 32, USA Wrestling Preseason Nationals, FreakShow, and others, has wrapped up. In some regions, early season high school tournaments have commenced, setting the stage for widespread competitions throughout December.
Significantly, the weight class structure for these rankings has been updated. Aligning with the new USA Wrestling guidelines, the structure now integrates the existing NFHS girls wrestling weight classes and introduces an additional class at 95 pounds. Consequently, there are now 15 weight classes in the rankings, an increase from the previous 14.
