At the beginning of the week, the teams planning on attending the Chillicothe wrestling tournament didn’t even know if the tournament was going to take place based on the looming forecast. As the week went on, the amount of doubt about having that tournament was in flux up until the day before when the host team made it official to have the tournament with a delayed start to allow everyone to brave the elements safely.

At several points during the tournament, the Lady Bulldogs were in 1st or 2nd place, including going into the last round of wrestling. But in the end, the teams that edged Mexico out had more medal winners.
