The Tigers added another commit to the class of 2026 with the verbal commitment of Curtis Borge. Out of Utah, he is a 3x state placer and a state champ in 2024. He was 5th as a freshman, champ as a sophomore, and runner-up as a senior. He is currently ranked #12 at 138lbs #115 on the class of 2026 Big Board.
Borge was 24-3 this past season with his losses coming in the state finals and the esteemed Ironman tournament. The year before he was 33-1 along the way to a state title at 132. He really broke out this year with winning NHSCA’s at 138lbs.
Borge was originally committed to Army but flipped after a recent visit with his brother Israel. Of note, Israel is #5 for the class of 2027 and had Missouri listed in his top school list recently. The two are Missouri natives but have wrestled their high school careers in Utah, and most recently seemed to have moved to Stillwater, OK.
