It’s the last week before Christmas Break. Final Exams and projects are needed to be done but when you wrestle, the expectation is that you can handle more than the average student. In a small school environment like Mexico, a lot of students are involved in a plethora of different interests.
Coach Senor’s roster is no exception to this as half of the lady bulldogs are also members of the school band. Coach Senor realizing this, had to play some give and take to make sure that the student-athletes on his roster can make all of their school-related functions. He did what many other coaches have done in similar settings.
He made a schedule change to allow his team to attend and participate in their Christmas Concert.
So as a result, the Lady Bulldogs left school early in the middle of Finals Week to go compete at the Blair Oaks’ Girls Tournament.
Last year, this event is where the Mexico Lady Bulldogs made their debut and several of the returning wrestlers appeared confident going into the event.
