Drury Wrestling has 11 Scholar All-Americans

Drury Wrestling continues its success in the classroom. Eleven Panther grapplers have been recognized as Scholar All-Americans. Among those receiving the honor are six that continue their academic success in making the list multiple years.

Peter Kuster finishes out his career as a 4X Scholar All-American. Jackson Caswell, Will Kuster, Connor Zimmermann and Sam Schultz have all been recognized as 3X Scholar All-Americans. Brandon Borlinghaus has now been recognized as a 2X Scholar All-American, while Teddy Hickey, Caden Howard, Owian Ulven and Jeremiah Halter are all recognized as Scholar All-Americans for the first time.

In order for a student-athlete to be nominated to the Division II Scholar All-American Team, he must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2023 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships and a 3.0 for those who were All-Americans at the 2023 Nationals. Wrestlers must have competed in four dates of competition.

In addition to the eleven recognized individually, Drury Wrestling finished 9th as a team with a 3.253 cumulative team GPA. Last season Drury won the team championship with a 3.542 GPA. The team All-Academic race uses the wrestlers that competed at the NCAA DII Super Regional Championships. Drury Wrestling has made the top 25 every season since its inaugural season of 2016.
