We are excited to start the school year and another season of wrestling. Drury Wrestling begins its ninth season as a program since its beginning in the Fall of 2016.
We are kicking of our year and season with our annual CHAMPIONS CHALLENGE crowd funding campaign. Our focus for this year’s Champions Challenge is to raise $22,000 for new wrestling mats. The campaign officially begins on September 17th and runs until September 24th. This year we are fortunate to have matching funds available to stack on top of your contribution.
Drury Wrestling is excited to announce that former Drury University President John Beuerlein has pledged to match your donation to Drury Wrestling dollar-for-dollar up to $11,000. This means that your donation of $100 can be doubled effectively making it a $200 contribution.
Additionally, if you donate as soon as the campaign goes live there is an opportunity for your contribution to be matched again using funds donated to the general athletics fund. Your $100 donation can potentially turn into a $300 contribution as it will have been matched by funds available there Drury Wrestling and through Drury Athletics General Fund. These general athletics funds are available to all teams and are time sensitive.
