Class 4 boys Day 1 Recap

To no surprise at all, the Liberty boys wrestling team is on pace to win another state championship.

After Day 1 of the Class 4 Missouri State High School Boys Wrestling Championships, the Blue Jays have a commanding lead, totaling 97.5 points. The next-closest team is Staley with 66 points.

On Friday, the tournament had the first round and quarterfinals completed and two rounds of wrestle backs. On Saturday, the tournament will conclude with the remaining consolation matches, the semifinals and the championship bouts.
