Class Three State Wrestling Preview
By: Sean Mael
Overall Team Thoughts: The team race In Class 3 this season between Whitfield and Neosho should be insanely fun to watch. I think Whitfield will grab the team title and Neosho will ultimately finish a close second place. I have Lebanon finishing third and Hillsboro grabbing the last spot on the team podium. All rankings utilized in this article are courtesy of Flowrestling and Missouriwrestling.com on Rokfin.
No disrespect is ever intended to any athlete or program. I love to be proven wrong. There are a lot of really deep weights in Class 3 this season. Should make for some really exciting semifinals at every weight. Thanks for reading!

Notable First Round Matches (Team Race or Ranked vs. Ranked:
#5 Caden Hulett, Platte County vs. Reign Creech, Hannibal Notable Potential Quarters:
#3 Raymond Hembree, Neosho vs. #5 Caden Hulett, Platte County #1 Porter Matecki, Whitfield vs. #4 Lukas Walker, Carl Junction #2 Andrew Bowling, Lebanon vs. Gavin Parks, Grain Valley
Thoughts: Raymond Hembree was a state runner-up at this weight class last season as a freshman. In Flowrestling’s all class rankings three Class 3 grapplers make appearances. Porter Matecki is ranked fifth.
Bowling slots in at seventh and Raymond Hembree is eighth. Our first quarter is fairly open as there are no ranked wrestlers in the quarter. Austin Neff, Festus is 25-1 and won his sectional so I am going with him to emerge into the semis.
Our second quarter will feature #3 Raymond Hembree and #5 Caden Hulett. This should be an entertaining bout.
