Missouri wrestlers made their mark at the 2026 US Open Championships, held April 22-26 at The Expo at World Market Center in Las Vegas. From Senior-level national team contenders to youth competitors, Show-Me State athletes competed across multiple divisions and styles throughout the week.
Luke Lilledahl of NLWC/Titan Mercury Wrestling Club headlined the week for Missouri, winning the Senior Men’s Freestyle 57 kg national title. Aeoden Sinclair of Tiger Style RTC/Titan Mercury Wrestling Club also had a standout tournament with a pair of top finishes, winning the U20 Freestyle 86 kg bracket and adding a third-place finish in Senior Men’s Freestyle at the same weight.

Wyatt Dannegger of Team Missouri Select also came home with gold, taking first at U17 Greco-Roman 51 kg.
Will Scherer of NMU-National Training Center reached the finals at U20 Greco-Roman 77 kg, earning a silver medal, while Graham Willis of Victory Wrestling picked up a silver in UWW Futures Freestyle 28 kg to go along with a third-place finish in UWW Futures Greco-Roman at the same weight.
Quentin Neal of Greater Heights Wrestling had a strong showing in the U15 division, earning a pair of bronze medals at 38 kg in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman.
