  • Questions regarding bonus points, starting lineup decisions, and opportunities for true freshmen to compete in certain weight classes
  • Predictions for individual matches in the upcoming dual meet between Missouri and Little Rock
  • Emphasis on the development and potential impact of true freshmen wrestlers on the Missouri Tigers team

The Tigers look to build off their thrashing of Northern Colorado with a road dual rematch against Little Rock. The two teams faced off in the consolations of National Duals, with Missouri taking a 34-6 win that saw them win eight matches with five bonus wins. The Trojans have some bright spots in their lineup and are actually ranked higher in tournament rankings but have struggled in duals. There are still good challenges, questions, and things to look out for in this dual.

Five points, we’ll detail below

  • How many bonus points can the Tigers put up?
  • Who starts at 141lbs?
  • Potential ranked matchups at 165/197 highlight the dual.
  • Under the radar good matchup at 285.
  • Another spot for true freshmen to go in?
  1. How many bonus points can the Tigers put up?

Seth Mendoza and Aeoden Sinclair had majors, Kade Moore had a tech, and Mack Mauger and Cam Steed had pins in the first dual. There are some lineup changes for both teams that may affect it but I think they still put up points. Mauger, Walker, Steed, and Sinclair are all heavy favorites and should score at least majors.

Teague Travis gets a ranked matchup against a very solid Javion Jones who’s only given up bonus points to Mendoza, #1 Brandon Cannon (OSU), and #7 Meyer Shapiro (CORN). Travis has been able to get to legs in recent matches but finishing has been an issue. If he can put up bonus points with his attacks here that’ll be a good sign going forward.
