The Tigers made another addition to the class of 2026 with the verbal commitment of Trey Craig. A Missouri native, he was 3rd at state last season and a runner-up in 2023. He had a shortened 2024 regular season but did make the bloodround at Fargo that summer; including a win over current Tiger Jake Stoffel who was the 6 seed.

His freshman year he competed for Liberty and went 17-4 at 157 while making the state finals. He was 7th at the Dan Gable Donnybrook in 2024 but didn’t compete in the postseason. This past season he transferred to CBC where he went 43-6 with a 3rd place finish at 190. His only loss at state was to eventual champ and current Tiger Peyton Westpfahl.

Craig was recently on a visit with during the Mizzou-KU game with 2027 recruits #3 Joe Bachmann, #25 Turner Ross, #52 Luke Hayden, and #91 Colin Rutlin. Rutlin is a teammate at CBC currently. While Craig is unranked, Willie at MatScouts said that he is very good and thought he was a 2025 grad so he could make a Big Board appearance for 2026 in the future.
