The Quarantine Interviews: Sam Frankowsi

3x state champ -> Navy -> Mizzou. After a stint at NAPS (Naval Academy Preparatory School), Frankowski has committed to the Mizzou Tigers, boosting an already impressive 4th-rated recruiting class. The projected 157/165 wrestler sits down with Derryan Derrough after a year out of high school.

The Quarantine Interviews (Because I Can’t Be Bothered to be More Creative)

You’ll have to excuse me if I’m biased.

Watching Sam Frankowski grow from finishing 1-2 at the state tournament his freshman year to finishing 12-0 the next three years, forces you to grow, as well. His senior year (2019), Rockwood Summit finished 5th in Class 3, the highest – by far – in school history, eight points out of a state trophy. The crazy thing about pushing to achieve something you’ve never done is an exercise in managing the unknown.

In that unknown, however, is hope. Sam Frankowski and that senior class represented hope, day in, and day out.
