Polo coach Kelvin Knisely wants to keep the goals simple this season: Get better every day, and win more duals and place higher at tournaments. The Panthers will again be short on numbers but not necessarily on talent.
While losing Class 1 Missouri State Wrestling Championships qualifier Joseph Hilburn to graduation, Polo has senior Wyatt Segar back to head up the lineup. He expects to be at 138 pounds a year after reaching the state final at 132 where he lost by technical fall to two-time Father Tolton Catholic state champion Teague Travis.
