What an amazing weekend at the 2020 Missouri State High School Wrestling Championships in Columbia.

There were great crowds, wrestling, and sportsmanship all around the arena. Whitfield, Monett, Neosho, and Liberty took home the team trophies and came to scrap when the time came.

I was very impressed with kid’s mental toughness and game planning that coaches gave athletes when they competed.

Missouri wrestling is going in the right direction.

There were some impressive individual runs to state titles that we will be taking a dive into this week, but Kolton Sanders and Drake Smith! WOW!!!!!!!!!! Talk about kids peaking at the right time and sticking to their coach’s game plan.
